Acupuncture for Emotions Without the Needles
EFT is a simple technique that utilizes acupressure points. EFT can help you gain the emotional freedom you desire to truly pursue being, doing and having what you really want in life. This simple technique often provides rapid relief from physical-emotional issues (e.g. Trauma, PTSD, Phobias, Grief, Anger, Guilt, Anxiety, Addictive Cravings, Nightmares, Abandonment, Fear of Public Speaking, Fear of Flying, Love Pain, Depression, Pain, Headaches and much more).
How Was EFT Developed?
Over 20 years ago a psychologist , Dr. Roger Callahan, put together parts of the theories and methods of applied kinesiology, eye movements, breathing exercises, affirmations and acupuncture points to develop an unusually effective way of treating negative emotions, phobias or trauma.
In the early 90's, Gary Craig, a Stanford engineer, developed a simplified procedure he named Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT). Because of the surprising effectiveness of these techniques interest in EFT, and meridian tapping techniques in general is growing rapidly in the USA and abroad. In 2003 the Journal of Clinical Psychology published the first EFT research study. There are now other published studies and many more studies in process.
How Does EFT Help?
The effect of EFT is calming and allows the user to think more clearly about the issue. In most cases the negative emotion or the impact of negative events is significantly reduced or simply no longer present.
EFT can be easily taught. The PowerPoint presentation described on this web site is an easy, prepared way to teach others about this amazing technique for removing the negative emotions that limit our success. Download a free EFT beginners manual at www.MeridianTappingTechniques.com.
There are several web sites with many case histories and helpful articles to increase your knowledge of EFT. My two favorite are: EFTfree.net and the EFT Masters web site.
